Nancy Pelosi Disavows Alt-Left Group “ANTIFA,” Calls for Arrests for Berkeley Violence
Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi issued a statement today disavowing alt-left terrorist organization ANTIFA, a group Paul Ryan supports:
“Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts. The violent actions of people calling themselves antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation, and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted.
House Speaker Paul Ryan, who praised ANTIFA after President Donald Trump’s Charlottesville remark calling out violence on “both sides,” has yet to disavow ANTIFA.
ANTIFA has been praised by many on-air figures, including Van Jones and Don Lemon.
Journalist Mike Cernovich asked several White House journalists why they wouldn’t report on alt-left terror, and was laughed at by a bloodthirsty media, which encourages and incites violence against Trump supporters.
A current White House petition has asked Trump to classify ANTIFA as a terrorist organization.
Titled, “Formally recognize AntiFa as a terrorist organization,” the petition currently has 319,163 signatures, exceeding the 100,000 required in order to obtain an official response from the White House.
