I read about this topic way too often. College graduates are unable to find jobs, and companies are unable to find skilled employees to fill open positions. Yeah, there is a skills gap. We all get it.
There is a simple solution to all of this, but for whatever frustrating reason, universities and companies just can’t link up to solve the problem quickly enough (this topic could be its own post).
Technological innovation is also accelerating, shortening the shelf life of many skills at the same time. Thus, the skills gap is widening.
Out of necessity comes innovation, and entrepreneurs…
