Very interesting read Nick. The tool does a nice job of understanding a team member’s strong and weak points. I am curious, however as I didn’t see design process or intention mentioned. Building a team based on just skill sets and not mapping those skill sets to a project lifecycle, or design process seems arbitrary. Additionally, where do the team’s values come in? Without an overarching intention and an understanding of the project roadmap, the tool seems incomplete. for e.g. any creative project would run through the stages of Research, Definition, Design and Delivery, but without the due diligence to understand each stage and its unique requirements for the said project in conjunction to the end intention, it would be hard to map out all the skills and values required to create a team. One that would satisfy not only the project goal but also unlock its own highest human potential.
