You can be the best advice giver in the world, but sometimes it’s hard to follow your own advice

Suicide, breakups, grief, how many times have people come to you with these issues, and how many times have you given them some good advice that may or may not help the situation. But what about when we’re feeling down, why can’t we listen to our own advice?

Is it a case of hairdressers being unable to cut their own hair, and doctors being unable to operate themselves? As advice givers, we can’t follow our own advice?

The answer is simple; emotions can overwhelm so much that you stop listening to any reasons within yourself. That’s when it’s sometimes helpful to let others do the talking/reasoning.

I don’t even know the direction of this essay… gah. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it and got the point of it, or if not the point, then some good points.
