PHP 7.1 is now available on amazee.io! Here’s how I upgraded my Drupal site to use it
30 minutes ago Bastian announced that PHP 7.1 has just become available.
I was so excited to try it out, I upgraded my local environment right away.
- If docker is running, type
docker-compose.ymlin your site root.
amazeeio/drupal:php70-basic, then save the file.
docker-compose up -d, this will fetch the latest docker image
- launch docker again with
docker-compose exec--user drupal drupal bash
- check your drupal site’s status report just to make sure
- test everything works nicely. If happy with it make a git commit, then ask your buddies at amazee.io to make the change to the servers.
