I agree with the premise and disagree with the definitions used. A boycott is not censorship. However, a boycott is when you say “You did X thing that offends me, therefor I will not buy your product.” it is not when you say “You did X thing that offends me, therefor I will prevent someone else from being able to buy your product.”
The first is a boycott. The second is censorship. The first, you are voting with your wallet. The second you are actively stopping other people from voting with their wallets. The first is a fair expression of your opinions. The second is an unfair suppression of another’s opinion.
