Entry 470

resist the urge
to look into
that room of gloom
your forebears tomb
your distant doom

resurgent
depression
will pass again

even when the new moon rises
starlight guides us from the den
so follow the stellar pattern

when you burn for release

do not look to the urn
do not yearn for the earth

you contain endless flames

inner worth
life
exceeds each nova

love is the seed that grows
a complete being

tomorrow brings fruit of today’s labor

look forward

brew what you wish to consume
