A graduate of the University of Alaska, Charles Clement holds a master of public administration. Charles Clement leverages his training to serve as president and CEO of the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC), which excelled during its most recent Operational Site Visit.

Every three years, SEARHC undergoes an Operational Site Visit by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. During this year’s Operational Site Visit, SEARHC earned a perfect score across the 19 criteria used during the assessment, during which surveyors visited sites in Juneau, Klukwan, and Haines.

In addition to assessing the organization on matters related to clinical services, management, finance, and governance, HRSA conducted a thorough review of documentation and interviewed staff, leaders, and board members. The surveyors were unanimous in their assessment that SEARHC exceeds all requirements and provides high-quality care.
