Yet mobile networks have never been under so much strain to reduce costs, as global customers are using 4x the amount of bandwidth but actually paying LESS money each month to the carriers. This is driving a dramatic need for massive technology improvements, from beam-forming antenna systems to edge-based smart radio networks. This will, in turn, put pressure on every component in the system from smart power amplifiers to the core chips that drive mobile networks.
