The Steelers secured a vital part of its offense in February by signing wide receiver Antonio Brown to a five-year, $73 million contract. Brown was set to become a free agent following the 2017 season, but the new deal means he will remain a Steeler, unless traded, through 2021. He’s also now the league’s highest-paid receiver, ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals’ A.J. Green, who made $15 million in 2016.

A sixth-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Brown has since become one of the league’s best and most exciting players. He has the second-most receiving yards in the league and has caught 50 touchdowns, which ranks 10th among all players. Last season, the 28-year-old recorded 1,284 receiving yards on 106 receptions and scored 12 touchdowns.
