The band ‘Quiet Riot’ started out strong right from the beginning. They had a distinct sound that audiences loved, with excellent vocals, and instrumentals that garnered them a great deal of fans. They were listed on VH1’s ‘100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock’, ranked at number 100.

Quiet Riot was first founded in 1973, in Los Angeles, California. The heavy metal band was formed by guitarist Randy Rhoads, and bassist Kelly Garni. Over the years, the band had undergone a series of changeups, as it progressed throughout the decades.

The band was originally formed under the name ‘Mach 1’. This soon was changed to ‘Little Women’, though that that didn’t last too long either. Inspired by Parfitt, they chose it as their new band name. The band has continued to record and tour throughout the decades, although the lineup has changed over time.

In 1983, Quiet Riot released their album ‘Metal Health’. It was a huge commercial success, and was the first heavy metal album to ever top the Billboard album chart. The band had multiple singles to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. ‘Mama Weer All Crazee Now’, and ‘Cum On Feel
