The Haunted E.A Davies Building

Saskatoon is a Canadian city located in the province of Saskatchewan. It is a prairie province, full of small towns, and a large amount of folklore. The province is home to the University of Saskatchewan, as well as various colleges. The city also has a great deal of paranormal activity, and there are a great deal of stories of haunted buildings.

One of the most well-known haunted buildings in Saskatoon, is the E.A Davies Building (located on the Sask Polytech campus). The building is haunted by a woman in white. For years, students have spotted the ghostly figure of a woman, who is said to be dressed in a 1930’s outfit. She walks around in the hallways, always silent, always ignoring those around her. Even if students try to engage her in conversation, the woman continues on her ghostly journey. She has also sometimes been spotted in the auditorium.

The E.A Davies building has been around for more than a century. It originally went by the name ‘Saskatoon Normal School’, and was a teaching college that ran from 1922–64. The building had been used as a training base for the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force), during WWII.

A man named Warren Wood, who had been interviewed by the Saskatoon ‘Star Phoenix’, spoke out about his sighting of the woman in white. He said the following: ‘She’s a younger woman, in her twenties, or thirties.’ Wood stated…
