Why I love obstacles

Everyone faces obstacles in their life. that’s something that you can’t avoid, and what’s life without some obstacles anyway. I’m honestly glad I have obstacles in my life, I’m probably only saying that right now because I don’t have any huge obstacles in my way right now, but it is true, obstacles are there to make us stronger and give us more opportunity. Anybody can turn obstacles in to an opportunity. Most people just look at obstacles as a drag, and they are only if you let it be. I’m a strong believer that we as humans were blessed with the gift of choices, and we can make whatever choices we want in our life. if you see obstacles as a roadblock, make the choice to start thinking of the obstacle as a new way to your goal, or destination in life.

life’s really all about perception. Ryan Holiday says “There is neither good nor bad, just perception.” I think this is a powerful quote because it really speaks to me. If we listen to Ryan than we will be able to overcome any obstacle that ever gets in our way because we will no longer see it as a bad thing we will start seeing it for its grand purpose, to get us one step closer to where we are planning to go. You’re not going to be able to change your attitude right away toward obstacles because we were never taught this way of thinking, but through practice and correcting yourself on how you see obstacles you will eventually adopt this belief.

That’s when you’ll see major changes in your life. instead of running away from obstacles, and never facing them, you will be facing the obstacle from a different approach now.. You can find the good in everything. I’m in the process of still looking at obstacles from a different perspective and I can already tell the difference by the way I react to them. From here on I won’t let an obstacle stop me from doing what I truly want to do and you shouldn’t either, because we are human and just with a little change in perspective you will flip the obstacle in to your own advantage.
