Agreed — there are those terrible days that send us reeling from shock. Sometimes, we don’t even have anything to do with it , it’s like the world just decides to fling it in our faces.

Like you said — they can’t really be turned around. That really sucks.

Personally, I find it helpful to think that regardless of the struggles that come my way, it will pass. From stomachaches to stretches of anxiety and OCD, I tell myself it will go away, in time. It cheers me up and makes me feel just a little better.

We don’t control the things that come our way, but we can control ourselves. Sometimes those horrible events make us break down, and there’s no shame in admitting it. Just don’t give up.
