LASAGNA RECIPE

1lb ground beef

1lb sweet italian sausage

1/2 cup onion

2 cloves garlic

season to taste, italian mixed seasoning is fine

1 tablespoon of pepper

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of sugar

add more where you need it

2 cans of crushed tomato

2 cans of tomato sauce

1 can of tomato paste

Mozz

Ricotta + 1 egg

Parm

Lasagna noodles

Cook off the beef and sausage, take your time

Dice up your onion super tiny, smash two cloves of garlic

Strain meat once it’s fully cooked/browned

Cook onions and garlic until translucent

add meat back in, cook for 5 min

Open tomato everything, fill a deep pot, stir to mix it all together

add herbs

stir

add meat and onions and garlic

stir thoroughly, let cook on low heat for an hour or so

boil some water with a bunch of salt in it

cook the lasagna noodles to al dente

open up your cheeses

mix 16 oz of ricotta in a big bowl with 1 egg, yolk and white

layer noodles and meat sauce and cheeses in baking dish like so

noodle, meat, cheeses, noodle, meat, cheeses

when you get to your top layer put meat on top then cover it in cheeses and

put the parmesan on top

cover in aluminum foil

bake at 375 for 25 minutes

take off aluminum foil

continue to bake at 275 for 15 more minutes or until browned on top

let sit for 5
