Being the Middle child: Pros and Cons from my point of view.
Now, I have no problem being a middle child. It is extremely helpful and extremely bad, just depends on the point of view, but here is my point of why being a middle child has pros and cons.
Pros:
- You are not the first born.
Yes. Not being the first born means your parents know what their parenting skills are and less likely to make a mistake than they where to their first born child. Granted, they will still make mistakes, like all parents do, but they know what they are doing by the time their second child rolls around.
Also as a middle child you will not be held up to such high standards as your older siblings, though your parents will still have high expectations for you. Also, rules will also probably be more lenient.
2. You are not the last born either
Being the last born has it is advantages, but as being born the middle child has better. For one, you are not the last to do anything. Lol.
3. Being the middle child means you can USUALLY stay in the background
Granted if you get into an argument with your siblings, you are not in the background, but sometimes middle children, like me, prefer to stay in the background. If you are also like me and a middle child, you learn to watch and learn from your siblings mistakes and laugh evilly in the background.
Now there are Cons to being a middle child as well.
Cons:
- Your not the first born.
- You are not the last born
- Usually in the background…..
Now I just threw these things together because being a middle child, you basically sit there and debate whether or not you have to rebel to get attention. You feel like no one remembers you’re there and you just want to act out.
So there are my pros and cons of being a middle child from my point of view.
Have a nice Day!
