To The New Network Marketer

My network marketing career started Dec 28, 2014. I was a former electrician, looking for a different way to provide for my family. I wanted to stay at home with my children and thought to myself network marketing continues to call me & it is time to answer.

I went back last night or shall I say this morning at about 2am to read some journal entries that I had written a year ago. The innocence and determination of those entries kept me awake for quite some time. It was as if I was throwing new fuel on an already burning fire.

My first day in network marketing I wrote this:

Dearest Cheryl,

So, you decided to take a blind leap of faith huh? Quite the decision. Funny actually! Your inexperience reigns true today, as you had no idea what it was to sign into a back office or what a leg was. But I will be damned if you let this shit get you down. The thing is, we make decisions and give it everything we got. The problem I see, is not enough people make decisions. This day you will make a decision. Ask yourself if you want this to work. Ask yourself if you believe network marketing is a better way. Ask yourself what you want. Knowing what you want will be key.

You see, you have made the decision & you know what you want. You will not fail & you want to be successful. Now all you have to do, is do it. Simple as that! I know you will, because doing things half-ass just would be completely out of character for you. I dare you… GO, find everything out & do your best. One day when you read this again, you will see that you have made plenty of mistakes, but you have not failed. Decisions & determination, use them to find the knowledge to be a success, because after all, success is what you want. When you see something you want, you go and get it!! Now GO!!

You could be in network marketing for one day or one year and be completely new. I believe that, until you make the decision to give this industry all you got, then you haven’t started yet. People ask me all of the time how I became rookie of the year. How I shoot videos, how I expand my network, how I was able to get such a large team in one year with no former experience.

If you want to know how to do these things, continue to read as I will get into more detail and share my tips with you. But today, ask yourself these questions… Have I made a decision? Am I determined? What do I want?

Once you answer those questions you will see, that you will become coachable. What I feel is the single most important element to success that first year. You will not know how to say “NO”. Every obstacle or task that is put in front of you by your upline, you will be the first to say “YES”.

Failure in these tasks will not frighten you, instead the fear of not saying “Yes” will. After all, when you made that decision to be determined you realize that failure only comes when quitting and you already made the decision not to quit, so there is nothing to fear.

The only question that you will ask from this day forward is, “what can I do next?”
