Using fingers to count number is a amazing idea, because it demonstrate the difference between number and digit. People tend to express 1 to 10 limited by the “number of our fingers”. It seems to make sense, but we actually use binary number system to calculate. If you can change each finger to different position such as three,four or even ten, it will become 3-base digit , 4-base digit and 10-base digit. In our daily life, most of electronic products or computers are using binary number system, because they have to run every device, they have make them using easier calculation. Accordingly, their information processing is not as intellgent as human. If they could use 16-based digit system, their behavior would be more delicated. Furthermore, computer prone to use 16-base instead of 10-base, since it is easier translated with binary system.The truth among a lot of common sense mathematics or popular puzzles are built on different digit system. Roman or Maya digit are another digit system. Real truth can not only be a solution, it could be generalize to discrete pattern or situations.” Number is not equal digit.”The physical reality of math consist of number and geometry which contain compass, ruler and origami.
