Where will you be when the populist tsunami makes landfall?

A revolutionary wave is breaking over American politics. Both Republican and Democratic elites are in complete disarray. Having marginalized the American people for decades, the chickens are coming home to roost.

The DNC today dropped its restrictions on accepting lobbyist contributions to the nominating convention, opening the door once again to vast sums of money from corporate interests. Why? They’re scared. They’ll do anything to protect establishment candidate, Hillary Clinton, from the insurgent presidential campaign of Senator Bernie Sanders.

It won’t work. Anything the establishment does to subvert democracy just blows up in their face. They’re simply too incompetent, and too late. My response, I gave $10 to Bernie Sanders campaign today, and I’m sure many other small donors did the same.

Honestly I dreamt that I would see people rise up and demand their voices be heard. What we are witnessing — the awakening of populist revolt — is unprecedented in my lifetime.
