It’s scary how we look at nature in all its beauty, and yet all we see is a landscape that would look good on our Instagram feed. Nicely cropped with a Nashville filter.

I have been guilty of that. Preparing meals and eating then cold because it took that long to get the perfect foodie pic.

Thanks for the article. I call my escapism “ghosting”. I go into my own little analog bubble, cutting out the digital world and the people in it.
