The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree; this adage can’t be lost on us as we’re carriers of character traits that are gene-encoded from our forebears. Who would have thought the apple still would be the symbolic fruit connoting humankind’s fall and depravity (as some myths and beliefs would have us know) and only too recently a popular and almost global electronic gadget brand, for its name and style chose this fruit (their iDevices are top notch).

With its multi-use effect ranging from being used in a saying often in a metaphorical form that typically embodies a common observation as in adages and myths to being stylized by corporations to being a healthy part of a balanced meal, this fruit denoted as “forbidden” is contrary to unpopular opinions, a very nutritious and healthy fruit you might have gotten the hint from the beginning but then again why don’t I save you the stress of guessing and just tell you what the fruit is…..Apple is the ultimate star of today’s article, a fruit that has been in existence since the beginning of time(according to Christian beliefs).

The beginning of sin

Apple which is also called (Malus domestica), domesticated tree and fruit of the rose family (Rosaceae), one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits. They are predominantly grown for sale as fresh fruit, though apples are also used commercially for vinegar, juice, jelly, applesauce, and apple butter and are canned as pie stock. It is one of the world’s most important fruit because it contains antioxidants, vitamins, dietary fiber, and a range of other nutrients. Due to their varied nutrient content, apples can be a healthful component of a balanced diet it also comes in different colors, shapes, and flavors and they carry the same effects on the body’s wellness. Most importantly, apples must be a part of your daily diet as it helps prevent cancer, obesity, and heart disease but these days people tend to undermine the effects and benefits of eating apples.

The intake of fruits cannot be over-emphasized so eat fruits if you want your immune system to be strong. fruits help in fighting diseases and also help in preventing them. During my days in a wellness center, I saw the magic of apples and what it does for the body we also recommended apples as part of a juice mix for clients with cancer. Apple has some component that our food alone cannot provide this is why we always recommend it as part of your daily meal, also while growing up my teacher back then in junior grade made us speak out “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” and that stayed with me up until today. We should also know that apple helps neutralize free radicals in the body and free radicals are reactive molecules that can build up as a result of natural processes and environmental pressures. If too many free radicals accumulate in the body, they can cause oxidative stress This can lead to cell damage. Cell damage can contribute to a range of conditions, including cancer, diabetes, and other lifestyle diseases.

When we consume a fruit that is rich in nutrients it helps to improve our mental health also fruits and vegetables may have a positive impact on a person’s mental health. Researchers have recommended that a person must eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day to get the benefit from the fruits. The American Diabetes Association recommends eating fresh fruit and which includes apples, to satisfy a sweet tooth and provide nutrition. However, the organization also reminded people to account for the carbohydrate content in the fruit and this means that it is beneficial for a sweet snack, and it has additional health benefits and is also safe to consume as much as you want to. Remember to remove the plastic fruit basket you have on your dining table and replace it with an actual fruit especially an apple to start a healthy day!
