Choice Coin Roadmap

The Choice Coin Network is glad to provide a roadmap for development. An overarching goal for Choice Coin moving forward is decentralization. We are aiming to decentralize the Choice asset so as to create and capture value, as well as to provide opportunity to developers and stimulate open innovation.

Q3 2021

We have made great progress in Q3 of this year, reaching many milestones before the quarter’s close. For example, the Choice Coin GitHub now has over 3,000 GitHub Followers, Choice Coin has been verified on the AlgoExplorer and the Algorand Wallet, and the Choice Coin Network has over 5,000 users on the Algorand blockchain.

Q4 2021

The Choice Coin Network will to attach a price to its native token, Choice, by the end of Q4 2021. This will most likely be done through a decentralized exchange on the Algorand blockchain such as Tinyman. With Tinyman launching by the end of Q3 2021, the Choice Coin Community is excited to have another avenue to promote Choice, decentralized voting, and democracy. Additionally, we will continue to apply to and work with centralized exchanges to grow the Choice Coin Network. Finally, we will also improve and make more accessible the technical documentation for Choice Coin software code on GitHub.

Q1 2022

The Choice Coin Network plans to launch Choice Charities, an initiative geared toward allocating decentralized assets to charitable purposes. The goal of Choice Charities will be to identify charities and non-profit organizations that engage in democratic or other equitable practices and then allocate assets to charities based on votes by the Choice Coin Community. Holders of Choice Coin may also be able to use their Choice Coin for donations to these organizations.

Q2 2022

The Choice Coin Network plans to launch a full-stack voting application by the end of Q2 2022. This application will be an update over the current Fortior Voting Protocol developed by Fortior Blockchain and will be live and on-chain. It will allow any organization across the world to vote using Choice Coin and the Choice Coin Network. The launch of this interactive platform will enable Choice Coin to be used more widely for new use-cases and spread decentralized voting as a legitimate form of governance.

Moving Forward

The Choice Coin Network plans to continue allocating resources and assets to its rewards programs. These rewards programs have been extremely effective over the past two months, with the network growing at an exponential rate with regards to academic output, social media presence, and development. The Choice Coin Community remains keen on growing its membership in the months to come.
