The Dalai Lama taught me a few things..
The mission is to write about the Dalai Lama. I don’t know much about him. I can tell you now that he has a pretty cool way of understanding the world. It seems to be based on some pattern of logical thinking.
The following are things that I believe he believes:
- People are awesome. We’re smart, capable and amazing.
- We’re better than other things in the world, because we have capabilities that they don’t, such as compassion and reason.
- Being ethical is more important than being nice.
- Life is meant to be lived, not feared.
- Children are somehow more than the average human.
- Potential is strength and action is resilience.
- Education is important.
- Everything is a part of something
- The butterfly effect
When I look on these, I think that the Dalai Lama would believe that humans are like their own little “Gods” so to speak, each affecting the world and each other.
We are our own little universe inside our own mind; And all our minds create a collective mindset.
I think this is the reason why it’s so important that we individually express compassion and love and other intrinsic human qualities.
