Multitasking: The Art of Messing Up Several Things at Once

Completely agree. What’s frustrating is that on almost every job application or interview I’m in, I still always get asked about multitasking. I usually tell them that my form of multitasking is focusing on one task at a time and only being interrupted when it’s important.

I get mostly excellent feedback to this answer, but it still troubles me that the word “multitasking” is so prominent in work culture. I hope to see less people looking for “multitaskers” and more people of focus.

Focus is really the key.
