The Election is Irrelevant
It’s What We Do that Matters
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are but proxies, a mirror image of our collective consciousness. Said another way, millions of US citizens think, speak, and act just as Trump would. And Hillary. We’re with them — we are them — every day.
Our outer world will hold its present course — regardless of election results — until we, individually, shift our mindset.
Handing over responsibility for positive change and then retreating back into a status quo of thought and action … for many, this is the election and governance process. Vote, done. An endlessly repeating, four year cycle of false hope, disappointment, and apathy.
Is this not collective insanity?
Want positive, lasting change? Be it. With courage and determination, change yourself, rather than attempting to change others. After acknowledging what is, face only forward with positive expectations: Focus your mind only on what should be (not what is). Speak only of what could be. Act only to create what will be.
It’s simple: Change yourself, change the world.
