I think Cameron might have made a brilliantly simple, yet very calculated move before his resignation – he is handing over the ”honor” of triggering Article 50 to his successor, whomever it might be….

Will Johnson or Gove have the guts to do it? Anyone else? Not likely.

And, moreover, I think Merkel knows exactly what Cameron is trying to do, which is why she is urging everyone to cool down and take it easy.

So my guess is that there will not be a #Brexit, after all. There will be a new election, probably sooner than most people think, and when the lies of the Leave campaign have been exposed, Labour will have to stand ready with a rock-solid plan for continued EU membership and a very serious investment plan to reunite Britain and revive the economy.

So the real question now is – is Labour ready for this? Are they ready to go? The countdown has begun.
