Cutting the Cord is Not Just for Millennials
francine hardaway

Hi Francine, great article as always. I cut the cord years ago, but over the last nine months, I haven’t watched a moment of Hulu or Netflix, either. A growing segment is gravitating quickly to live-streaming mobile participatory video on sites like Blab, Periscope and MeVee. With no monthly subscription fees at all — save for a beefy WiFi plan — I’ve found more entertainment, deep connections and value than any pre-recorded plan could ever deliver. I’ll binge-watch a series here and there — House of Cards, anyone? — but other than that, live-streaming video is a 24/7 source, whenever I need it.
