I can relate to this article. Except I had saved over 300k and then tried to chase my passion over the last two years and I’m still not sure what it is other than writing and podcasting. Neither of which earn me any money. I blew through almost half my money, some poor investments, some overspending. But, my previous life wasn’t viable either. Eventually living life on the other side of the law would have caught up as well.

But I really like how you explain your process and experience. A lot of what you wrote about “planting seeds while you still have a steady paycheck” is what James Altucher says to do. If you haven’t read any of his books they are definitely worth the read.
