Her article considers multiple aspects of the Dem party line. I think you are projecting SJW onto her where it is not. It is a reasonable position to care about minorities, despite the weird ways that care is manifesting in this country. I think she makes a valid point that Rs have no real platform tied to their constituency’s interests.

I also like her point that it is recently become all about the power grab and getting nasty. I agree with the other commenter that you show yourself to be an intelligent person. I think intelligence is most effective when it starts from demonstrating an attempt at understanding where the other person is coming from, rather than beginning from the premise that the other person has 0 legitimacy for their point of view.
