We can respond with creating art as part of our daily, weekly, or monthly life. We can raise our children to be more aware of the range of options for how to do things. We can join local communities that support local. We can be more conscientious of how our dollars count as votes on what paradigm exists. We can encourage each other to see the vast dilemmas facing us as opportunities, not overwhelming.

the second:

I think the question is too broad. But the ability of any government to exert its will does depend on the attitudes and beliefs of their people regarding that foreign entity. I’d say at this point, politics largely slows down the process of creating sustainable, needed geopolitical strategies.
