This is a great story. On one layer, lots of latent feelings of satisfied revenge without the guilt of having to make a choice.

I do have to say, I spent the entire time reading being annoyed at the main character. To routinely swallow unhappiness in the face of clear internal evidence that the code of conduct in a partnership isn’t satisfying you! It’s 2016. Speak your mind, woman! But, ultimately, my investment of emotion is a testament to your writing skill. Thank you.
