Circular, like many in the blockchain industry, faced significant challenges in 2024, including those stemming from Operation Chokepoint 2.0. This initiative, which scrutinized blockchain and crypto companies, created a hostile environment within the US banking system, targeting many in our industry. Navigating these pressures required resilience and adaptability, as financial institutions became increasingly hesitant to engage with blockchain projects, often limiting access to critical banking services.
Despite this, Circular remained steadfast in its mission to drive innovation in healthcare, science, and finance through blockchain technology. By leveraging strong partnerships in Europe and other regions, we successfully mitigated these challenges and maintained momentum. This experience further underscored the importance of our HIPAA and GDPR compliance, which continues to bolster trust and credibility among global stakeholders.
