Evolution & assumptions of ‘adaptationism’

Is it fair to use the concept of ‘’some form of adaptationism’’ ?

« the mechanism of creative evolution is process of adaptation », but the word creative must not be understood as ‘’some form of creationism’’. Indeed, the forms of life which survived were necessarily adapted enough in order not to have disappeared !

Survivalism sounds better than adaptationism.

Also, we use the words ‘’mechanism’’ and ‘’process’’ when we talk of Evolution (which sounds perfectly correct to me !). But why do we need to add « Theory » ?

Creationism IS a Theory, which failed miserably to demonstrate any validity.
