Change can be scary. We tend to be creatures of habit, set in our familiar ways. When those ways get disrupted, we often feel de-stabilized and disoriented. We feel most comfortable with things as they are, the way they have been. But rather than being solely scary, change can also point to new opportunities and lead us down exciting new paths.

One could argue that change keeps us vital and alive — forcing us to look with fresh eyes and see things anew. We can either resist change or embrace it, knowing that change is indeed a reality in all of our lives. Our lives can change in an instant, for better or for worse, so it behooves us to be ready for whatever tomorrow might bring by developing a growth mindset that expands and deepens us.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
