How to Go Live on Citizen in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1: When you receive an alert for a nearby incident, swipe to open up the alert.

Step 2: Click the map to see how close you are to the incident. If you are within 0.25 miles, the “record” function will be enabled.

Step 3: Hit record to immediately begin broadcasting. Do not hold down the record button, one tap will get you started

If you’re not within 0.25 miles, you’ll get a notification that looks like this:
