#ShaleOil NSW. What don’t govt. want us to know?

As the enlightened world establishes renewables as energy sources, N.S.W. -under-a-mad-Baird-government heads down the dirty #ShaleOil path.

Minus the media hype that accompanies great and other government decisions this appeared in the government gazette March 23 2016. Brought to our attention on April 1st it is NOT an April Fools joke. It unveils a plan to licence the dirtiest oil extraction method of them all across the entire state of NSW.

• Article shows that Shale oil extraction and refinery is a dirty energy intensive industry. Expect huge carbon emissions.
• Why would a government favour shale oil over renewable solar wind or tidal when the latter are all carbon free and unptoblematic unless they were taking corrupt payments? There id no othet reasonable explanstion.

If that doesn’t get you mad then the real intention might. Yes there may be new exploration stockmarket plays across the State but the one pre identified commercially viable area in NSW is the Sydney basin. What could possibly go wrong?

According to this Australian Geoscience analysis the sole Shale Oil deposits in N.S.W are in the Sydney basin.
