Citizenship Classes Expanding This Fall

After welcoming their 10,000th student, popular citizenship classes through our Stupak Community Center are now available at two additional community centers.

Classes range from $20 to $30 for a month of classes and happen during week nights or on Saturdays, depending on which class you sign up for.

You can sign up at recreation.lasvegasnevada.gov, head into the community center directly or call 702–229-PLAY.

Stupak Community Center

Classes: Spanish and English

Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. October 6-October 27

Monday/Wednesday from 6–8 p.m. October 29-November 21

Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. November 3-November 24

Monday/Wednesday from 6–8 p.m. November 26-December 19

Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. December 1-December 22

Mirabelli Community Center

Classes: Mandarin, Japanese, English

Monday/Friday 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. October 8-November 2. *the first 100 people to register for this class can sign up for free

Monday/Friday 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. November 5-November 30

Monday/Friday 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. December 3-December 28

East Las Vegas Community Center

Tuesday/Thursday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. beginning October 2

Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon beginning October 6
