Hurricane Irma hit the Caribbean islands of Puerto Rico, Cuba & Virgin Islands with its strongest force of Category 5.
The centre of the hurricane was so strong that it sucked in the waters from the shores of the Bahamas before letting it all out eventually.
By the time it reached the States, it has turned into a Category 4 but that didn't stop it from leaving behind jaw dropping scenes, as this video reveals.
