2 Celtics vs Warriors 3- let me start by saying this is going to be one of the best finals in NBA History. Two 2 way teams in the NBA Finals, how cool is that? From their starters to their benches, both teams play offense and defense really well. When it comes to the five fundamental skills of basketball, nothing will be easy in this series. Dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defending will be a tough challenge.

I’m nervous about Golden State, Boston is a tough match-up for them. Their not the same team, things have change. The big 3 been battling injuries such as Curry’s knee, Klay’s ACL, Draymond’s back and Durant is no longer there. They also missed back to back playoff appearances. Relax I get it, yeah the big 3 is healthy and they playing good. It’s going to take more than the big 3 for Golden State to win this series. I trust the big 3 but I don’t trust some of their supporting cast. Looney, Wiggins, Poole, Kuminga, Porter Jr and Payton II will have a lot of pressure on them. They’ll be asked to step up and time will tell if their ready or not. One of their cast members I do trust is Iguodala. I don’t know the status of his injury but he’s a veteran that can defend and score. He’s a finals mvp and he can lock up Tatum and Brown. Slowing down Tatum and Brown gives Golden State a great chance to win this series.

Boston’s defense is too good and they’ll be on Klay and Curry like white on rice. Draymond can’t take over a game like Klay and Curry. He’s not a scoring stacker, that’s not his style. Boston slowing the splash brothers down is the key. There isn’t another player on the Warriors that can give Boston problems. Don’t get it twisted, it won’t be a easy task against the splash brothers. The cutting, moving without the ball, and coming off screens will frustrate Boston. They going to struggle and give up a lot of points because of Golden State’s movement. Golden State’s ball movement will create scoring opportunities for Curry, Klay, Draymond, and other role players. Golden State’s ball movement is something that Boston haven’t seen all season. They will be tested, You better believe it.

Boston confuses me at times. They have a habit of getting in their own way. Tatum, Brown, and Smart play too much my turn your turn basketball. There isn’t a captain on this team, they just go with the flow. I also think Tatum holds the ball too long, there’s too much dribbling while others standing and watching. That won’t work against Golden State. Their defense switch very well and they create a lot of turnovers. Boston dribbling with no movement will create easy stops for Golden State. Boston dribbling with no movement will force them to take a lot of jump shots, tough jump shots because Golden State defend well. Don’t expect Boston to take a lot of open shots. Draymond, Klay, and the crew not having it. They’ll be on a mission for blocks, steals, and turnovers. Boston must keep the ball moving. They won’t move it well as Golden State but they must move it.

Here’s where I draw the line. Boston play better against pressure. They’ve proven through out the playoffs that they can overcome pressure. Boston won every must win game, especially on the road. They were the best road winning team in the playoffs and I expect them to be the best road winning team in the NBA Finals. That’s what it’s going to take for them to win the NBA Finals, winning on the road. Their not afraid when their backs against the wall. The fact of the matter is they play better on the road. You should be concerned if You a Warriors fan. The Warriors faced no pressure throughout the playoffs. They wasn’t better than Boston on the road. Boston have the better rim protectors, Al Horford and Robert Williams won’t allow nothing easy inside. Horford also has the ability to defend and score. That could be a problem for Looney and Draymond. Boston also have the better 2 way players. Tatum, Brown, Smart, and Grant. They can change the game, they’re playmakers.

Golden State is lacking a lot of 2 way players, that will be a problem in this series. Who else besides Draymond, Klay, and Dola are 2 way players? Curry is getting there but he’s not there yet. Boston and Golden State role players are similar. White, Pritchard, Poole, Wiggins, Looney, Kuminga, Porter Jr, and Payton II can change the game. Their dark-horses in this series, don’t sleep on them. Boston had the toughest ride to the finals, tougher than Golden State. They beat the Nets, (KD& Kyrie) Bucks, (Giannis, Holiday) and Heat (Butler, Bam, Lowry). They were tested very well and they ready for this moment. They have the better players and it will show in this series. I won’t be surprise if Boston win this series in 6. I got Boston in 7.
