In the discursive space there is almost no room for apathy or neutrality.
subculture to counterculture to culture

I find myself subjected to the downside of this a lot. Take the very heated debate on punching Nazis. I lean heavily to pacifism and nonviolence as a guiding principle. But that said do not feel a burning desire to take up arms against and denounce the Nazi punchers. The debate takes a lot of space and is kind of pointless. Punching people is illegal, it’s assault. Even if they are Nazis. That seems like a good policy. If people want to break it, well, call it civil disobedience and be done with it.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
