It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sunsetting of the Claws NFT collection. This decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration and numerous attempts to navigate the challenging market conditions, we have concluded that we cannot see a viable path to success for the collection.
From the beginning, we poured our hearts and souls into Claws. Our team worked tirelessly to integrate with our partner, Worldwide Web 3, by designing in-game assets and developing smart contracts. Despite our best efforts, we faced significant setbacks and were recently informed that our partnership would be canceled.
The NFT market on ICON has been incredibly volatile, and we have faced headwinds that made it increasingly difficult to sustain the project. Leaving the community without fair compensation was never an option for us.
In light of this, we want to ensure that our community is treated fairly. We will distribute our remaining treasury to Claws holders who sign up on a designated form. Our treasury, kept in ICX, was used prudently for salaries, asset creation costs, and other expenses essential to the project’s development. We will do our utmost to refund as many ICX as possible to those who sign up on the form.
We understand that this news may be disappointing, our journey in the Web3 world taught us a lot, and we are grateful for the support and enthusiasm you have shown us throughout this journey.

You can sign your ICX address on the above form to register for the refund. You will be refunded based on the amount of Claws NFT you held at the time of the cutoff: 06/17/24 at 1 AM UTC.
⚠️ There is no need to purchase Claws NFT now, Claws acquired past the cutoff date won’t be counted. Free mints may be excluded.
You will need to paste a signature from your address to confirm your application, you can generate this signature on our website: https://clawsnft.com.
Once the gathering phase is completed (1 month), we’ll distribute the remaining ICX. You will be able to keep your Claws NFT as well.
