I just believe some people (no matter the skin color) are so dug in, so indoctrinated, so hard wired that no argument will turn them from their hatred. What is to be done about them?
Sometimes I think we expect to much of our species as a whole.

Chris,

Thanks for your thought-provoking comments. We need higher expectations, without them there’s nothing to shoot for. Without standards or something to strive for, the world spirals into complete anarchy, kleptocracy, kakistocracy (I love that word), the rule of law gets ignored, everyone settles for the lowest common denominator, eventually we all end up living like the Flintstones and Rubbles, but without the clever gadgets.

In response to your question: we, the rest of us, keep moving forward. There’s no other alternative. Everybody die because an ignorant, dug in, indoctrinated few can’t see the forest for the plank in their eye? (See what I did there? 😂)

No, I’m not going out like that.

I still say, it’s better to put our energy into those who at the very least are curious as to how to make the world a more equitable place for all.

Thanks again.
