DNC Shatters The Illusion Of American Democracy In Order To Keep People’s 27 Bucks
Caitlin Johnstone

This article, fine as it is, assumes that Bernie was something other than a stalking horse (in on the game) planted by the DNC to capture and energize the Ralph Nader/Howard Dean/Barack Obama wing of the Democrat party and dutifully hand those voters over to Her highness at the convention. The odds were that this vote would comprise somewhere between 5–15% of the true blue believers and having Sanders speak their truth would keep them loyal to the Donkeys (BS is NOT a Democrat), but it didn’t turn out that way. If you look a Bernie’s support rising in the primaries you’ll see that it mirrors Trumps assent on the GOP side — i.e. the Dems realized that they didn’t have to choke down a HRC nomination any more than the Republicans need to accept a JEB! nomination. My contention is that Trump fueled Bernie’s rise and Democratic Socialist found himself in the uncomfortable position of having to lead the troops into the DNC and surrender (which he did) AS PLANNED.
