I realise this isn’t the substance of your post, but nevertheless I want to point out that net native was a not a success you make it out to be. When it was first released, the state of it was so pathetic, it would fail to compile Microsoft’s own Entity framework core, amongst many others. And since all store apps had to be compiled with native, that was a real problem.
