“we want an environment that allows all opinions and a free exchange of ideas” to that question means a company has deemed racism and sexism viable opinions, worthy of being freely exchanged

The entire point of freedom of speech is that you do not get to decide which opinions are unworthy. Otherwise you can silence any dissenting opinion, and even if today it’s sexism, tomorrow it could be something else.
Freedom of speech is not “just another right” — it’s fundamental to how society operates. Silencing opinions is a one-way ticket to the banana republic.
