Lines in the Sand

Boundaries we set for ourselves or not always set in stone. The line drawn in the sand continues to move granule by granule. Life is fluid, full of movement. A boundary set now might not serve you later.

Be flexible, know that you have the discernment to change your mind. True strength of character is the ability to grow and change and evolve. Does it really matter what anyone else thinks. Does it really matter that they’re over bearing opinion is pushed on to you.

There really isn’t even a need for a confrontation. You know what you know and that’s it. You do not owe anyone an explanation. You don’t even need to hear their explanation either. ‘Hey, I prefer not to talk about that but thanks anyway!’

Protect your peace. Don’t let the opinions of others rattle you. Put down your defenses, drop your shoulders. This battle for your mind is over when you know what you know is your truth alone. Wave the white flag. Bury your feet in the sand. Granule by granule you will begin to feel grounded in your own truth.

My family attended a Broadway Play in New York City this weekend at the Winter Garden Theater, Back to the Future. The show was amazing, you should see it!
