Thank you for this beginning of what the airhead would have to add to her time off. It is so hard to believe that ANY woman, other than one without kids, could ever think of maternity leave as “me” time. It is so NOT about the mom. And it probably shouldn’t be, what with a new baby, but in order to do right by them, we need to do right by us first! As new moms we are far too obsessed by our precious babies to CARE about ourselves, which is actually not a good thing, but is the truth!
