The concept of a window spans across all apple OS’. Watch, TV, iOS, iPad, mac, etc. I’m not super clear on what it means. But here’s an attempt to explain what I think I know now. The window is what your app is shown in. So for macOS apps, people often have multiple screens. It’s possible your app supports multiple screens that could be split across many windows. E.g. one window could be displaying on the laptop. Another window could be displaying on an external monitor.

You need to go to Info.plist and add a new element: Privacy — Camera Usage Description. Make sure you also include a helpful string. This is what is shown to the user when your app asks for permission to use the camera. Also if you have no string, the app will crash. Note you can’t seem to test the camera on the simulator.
