Wouldn’t you just handle this in the same way you handle other framework dependencies though? Write a small facade around it that can route the correct calls and go from there. You should be doing this in general for most code you don’t control so unless you want to write a navigation library yourself then I don’t see how this is any worse that what’s currently there.
