“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.” — J. R. R. Tolkien

We often find ourselves continuously searching for things that are beyond our persona, when they mostly keep us at a distance from the real world and from ourselves, we lose grasp of our surroundings, we no longer remember the things that made us truly happy once because we’re too caught up with work or school (or both) that we no longer understand the simplest things of life. It’s a simple life that we’ve complicated unnecessarily.
